Just returned from Paris after a 2 year absence due to the pandemic. Life over there is pretty much back to normal. Masks are still worn indoors, but otherwise most restrictions have disappeared. The infection rate is low. I felt pretty safe. I plan on traveling back to Paris in December. If all goes well, the trip we initially scheduled for May 2020 will hopefully take place in early June 2022. Stay tuned...

Most of you would likely have travelled to Paris. But have you really seen the real Paris. I plan on taking a small group to my home city in the spring of 2022 - The theme: the Bonaparte dynasty and Paris. Napoleon and his nephew Napoleon III transformed Paris and made it what it is to this day: one of the most beautiful city in the world. Join me in what will be a unique visit of Paris and its vicinity...

Past Travels

Spain with Dr. Olivier Courteaux May 15-24, 2019
Itinerary

LIFE travels and Worldwide Quest

Spain is a fascinating country to explore, bursting with historic treasures, architectural wonders, dramatic scenery, and charismatic cities.

The journey began in the golden metropolis of Madrid where we found medieval mansions, royal palaces, and a plethora of artistic masterpieces including Picasso's Guernica, Spain's most famous artwork. From Madrid we traveled out to Toledo, dramatically sited at the top gorge overlooking the river; a place where we found Roman roots, Gothic cathedrals, Sephardic synagogues crammed into the dense historical centre.

A fast  train took us south Andalucía, a cultural melting pot of Christian and Moorish influences with ancient mosques transformed into churches, richly decorated palaces, and a cuisine infused with North African falvours. We visited the highlights in the beautiful cities of Seville, Cordoba, and Granada, ending our trip in the Mediterranean seaside town of Malaga.

A lot of travels to come

Don't miss our next travels.

Our vision is to discover a lot of countries, civilizations, different peoples and cultures by understanding their History and linking the past, the present and the future.
